EVENING GOWN

Evening Gown will be the most elegant apparel of the pageant. It will be a statement of the contestant’s style and taste. The dress should be in perfect condition.

• Contestants are responsible to provide their own gown

• Gown must be Floor Length

• Gown style should be either Ballroom or Tulip-contoured, dresses of other styles need to be approved by LeCher Productions

• Shoes should match and complement the dress. Shoes should not be scuffed, worn at the toe or heels.

• Modeling is “free style” with some stage blocking. Contestants will be modeling their dress for one minute.

• Volunteers with Lecher Productions will rhinestone the gown with the constants permission

• To assist the hair stylists, please be sure not to wash your hair the night before the pageant.

• Hair (wigs) will be styled for you. All hair (wigs) provided by LeCher Productions is on loan, and must be returned by the end of the evening. Contestants who do not return hair (wigs) at the end of the evening may receive a bill for replacement cost.

 

ON-STAGE INTERVIEW

Interview will be based on personality and poise, the ability to communicate on a microphone in front of an audience, and the context of the answer in relation to the topic given. The contestants should be prepared to give a brief biography to the audience, in the instance that stall time is required.

• Through the application the contestant has the ability to provide questions for this category. All questions throughout the years are compiled. LeCher Productions will choose the questions that will be used at the pageant.

• Your question(s) may or may not be chosen to be used.

• Contestants will choose their question at random while on stage, the last contestant will receive the final question.

 

OVER THE TOP PINK

Over the Top Pink will be the most extravagant apparel of the pageant. It will be a statement of the contestant’s style and taste. The costuming and accessories should be in perfect condition.

• Contestants are responsible for purchasing their base outfit (example: black or pink dress or shirt and top)

• Shoes should match and complement the costuming. Shoes should not be scuffed, worn at the toe or heels.

• Modeling should in rhythm of the music, or to the contestant’s best ability; this is the time for the contestant to ham up the audience and have fun on stage.

• Volunteers with LeCher Productions will embellish items.

• After an item is embellished there is no guarantee that the item will be able to be returned to its original condition.

• Volunteers with LeCher Productions and the contestants will be meeting at contestant meetings to “sketch” a plan for the embellishments of their outfits.

CROWNING

Crowning is the occasion where the contestants become part of the Living Pink Royalty. This is the last image of the “contestant” the audience will see. Most pictures posted from the pageant will be from this “category”.

• Contestants may either purchase or use their Evening Gown for this category

• Gown must be Floor Length

• Gown style should be either Ballroom or Tulip-contoured, dresses of other styles need to be approved by LeCher Productions

• Shoes should match and complement the dress. Shoes should not be scuffed, worn at the toe or heels.
